Producing artwork, while keeping a website (actually several websites) up to date and current is terribly time-consuming especially if it isn’t your bread-and-butter – and you are doing it part-time. For a couple of years I have been struggling to keep the old “Worlds in the Making” site up to date and fresh, and no doubt my failure has been noticed. Every now and again I see a spelling mistake and some glitch that I have missed on some or other page and even worse I stray across pages that are “under construction” – and have remained that way since I redesigned the site in May 2008…

For me, “Worlds in the making” describes the constant process of creation that goes on inside the mind of an artist. Every single day, every single minute a entire universe grows, takes form, is destroyed and rebuilt inside each one of us, though often we are unaware of the process.

Philosophising aside, this website contains my personal on-line gallery. It covers most of my work as an artist from the late seventies to the present day. Not a great hoard of work, (I have always been slothful and slow in production) but enough to show you my repertoire, and a small glimpse into the twisted imaginings of David Wiles , aka Hamfast…
